Reliance (MD) MVA and Flyout

FITHP.net - n 2-19-2012 Sta.26 Eldorado Brookview was alerted for an accident with ejection on Reliance Rd. Due to the location of the call, Federalsburg Fire Dept was requested to the scene. Crews arrived to find a Ford Windstar van that left the roadway and overturned multiple times. A witness told police that two of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle as it flipped. EMS crews from Eldorado-Brookview, Federalsburg Md and Hurlock Md treated four patients. Trooper-6 was requested in to fly out one of the patients to a trauma center. Three other occupants were transported via ambulances to near-by hospitals. Federalsburg-Reliance Rd was shut down during the alarm. Maryland State Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
