How Roadside Blood Transfusions are Saving Lives

Great North Air Ambulance Service - The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) started carrying blood on board its helicopters in 2015. Plasma followed in 2016. This video explains how the project came about and the difference it is making - in the words of patients themselves as well as those behind the scheme.

GNAAS is a charity. It relies entirely on donations from the public to survive. If you support our work, please consider making a donation, however small.
