W. Ann Maggiore, JD, EMT-P, is an attorney and paramedic in Albuquerque, NM. Her legal practice involves the defense of EMS personnel, physicians, nurses and law enforcement officers against lawsuits. She also represents EMS personnel in licensing issues. She holds a clinical faculty appointment at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine's EMS Academy where she instructs paramedics, residents and physicians in medical legal issues. She is a former paramedic, firefighter and EMS administrator.
