Hey bud, I just realized I never sent you those patches I promised a LONG time ago. My apologies. Send me your address and I can send them right away.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I'm not on this site often. My picture was taken in Kauai,Hawaii but I imagine the cook islands would look quite similar. I am a big fan of your part of the planet. I have been to Australia but unfortunately have not made it to New Zealand. Hopefully some day

Hello,
Hope all is well with you. I have been very busy also. My mom passed away last week after a six month battle with brain cancer to include brain surgery, chemo, and radiation. Its not a path that is easy to travel.
We graduated our second EMT class last week also. They are taking their emt boards soon.
My husband if from Izmir. It is a city of about 5,000,000. Very busy and very interesting. Turkey if full of history. The Roman, Greek and Christian history is awesome. Make sure you go to Ephesus. And make sure you see the carvings on the mountains. They are so awesome. We spent some time by the Agean Sea and went on some boat trips. The mud baths were interesting. I really cant wait to go back and see more of the country. Our plans are to retire there in about ten years. My son will be grown and finished with college and I can retire at my ems job. Then we can explore Turkey for a long time.
I have had a bad week in EMS. I had a nine year old hit by a car last shift. I also had a head on collision with two critical patients that we took to the trauma center. One of them died the next day. We had about ten other calls that shift. Today has been good and we have had some down time. That is why I am finally on the computer.
Hope things are good for you. Be safe.

Cheers for that KIWI EMT!!!! I have been pretty on top of it all until now. Having to stand down for a "rest" - its been made mandatory. Think the earthquake just threw me over the edge - but you are right in what you are saying.

Greetings from Mexico! I sure can offer some of my badges in gift for you. I am not personally interested in collecting badges but I will be more than glad to provide you with mexican paramedic badges from my own uniforms. It is exciting to think about my badges being so far away proudly displayed. Give me an adrress and I sure will send you a bunch of vintage paramedic badges, all used in the streets!
Jose Antonio.
