TIme marches on. I guess the big news is that I gave notice this week that I will be retiring on Sept 30, 2011. A year before I had originally planned. But life tends to present us with certain events and situations that require us to adjust our plans and adapt to life's little surprises.

While I plan to take some time to rest I know that I will not be inactive for long.

There is just something about this crazy, yet wonderful profession that has become a part of my being. I'm not sure what awaits around the next bend along the road of life, but it will in some way involve EMS.

How could it not.
