Verbal First Aid

Ma’am, you’ve cut your arm very badly. I understand that you don’t want anyone to help you, but someone cares enough about you to call for help. Now you have six people working very hard to take care of you, so please stop fighting with us.…

Last Call.....for now.

Well, after months of though and weighing of pros and cons, tonight is my last night at my current job. For the most part I am quitting to give my full attention to school. I just started my 1 of 2 semesters of Paramedic school and it is the last class needed to get my associates in emergency medicine. I don't need to tell you all that this is alot of class time and even more clinical and ride time. I'm also getting married in August and am doing…

Political BS

To quote a wise man "it really grinds my gears" that the world we live in is so careful about not getting into a a lawsuit that we forgo common sense. When did we as Americans turn the page to a new chapter of being scared of what is right and correct? Now I have no issues with life style choice's nor that he was attending an event. I have a problem… Continue

For the Love of Animals- and EMS

I'm an animal lover, and last night I read Mark Levin's book Rescuing Sprite. It's about how he became attached to a dog that he adopted, and how agonizing it was to have to put him to sleep. One dog that he adopted was turned over to a shelter because its family just didn't feel like caring for it anymore. It was sweet, gentle, and loving, but had been badly neglected.

So why would this family ever get a dog in the first place? Was it just… Continue
