About Me

Hello My name is sarah Renee, Iam a second year student inrolled in the Fire Science Program at Dutchess Community College in NYS. I am a volunteer Fire Fighter/EMT with the Pleasant Vallley Fire District located in Pleasant Valley NY. At the age of 16 I joined my local fire dept. My first NYS class was FF1 cert at the age of 16. My first year in the fire dept I was given the NEW FIREMAN of the year award. At the age of 17 i started my NYS EMT cert the test was just one week after I turned 18 I passed. Within the first year of being apart of pleasant valley rescue Squad I recived the captians award. My other NYS classes are: AVET,FF survival, Incident safety officer, CPR, ICS 100/200/700 and I am drawing a blank right now because I know there are a few more that Iam missing; but that is me in a nut shell.
