How many medics transmit EKG's to recieving hospitals?What pros/cons do you have? We are a STEMI recieving facility. The other day we got a stemi alert with a 12 mminute ETA. The Cath Lab team and Cardiologist came down in 2. I made a joke about beating the other teams record of door to cath lab time of 11 minutes. So he returned with "i say 6 minutes". "We transmit our 12 leads to the hospital from the house and then enroute as well. Our transport time is anywhere from 30 minutes on so this is very helpful to the cardiac team.  We did one not to long ago that was 3 minutes from door to cath…"
