Only if you get the actual professional version. There's a consumer version, and while I generally don't recommend home products for ambulance use, it's accurate enough to pass FDA muster. It just won't last as long....

Phillips is coming out with a forehead, "electrode" temperature probe for continuous temperature monitoring. Haven't seen the data about accuracy, etc. For single-point temps we use commercial tympanic thermometers.

Franc,

Good afternoon

I have put a couple of photos of our station on my profile page including one of the vehicles. I will try to get some pictures of our main vehicle when I am next down at the station.

Best wishes

Michael

Franc,

Good evening

Thank you for your kind reply. I will try and take some photos of our station and the vehicles for you to see. Please let me know what your organisation is called and where you are based. Is it a voluntary ambulance service or do you have paid staff?

Many thanks

Michael

Franc,

Unfortunately I have only 2 patches left to swap, but I would be very happy to send you these. I would enclose an addressed envelope for you to send me one of your ambulance service patches. I am involved in pre hospital emergency care in New Zealand and would be keen to know what service you work for. My address is - PO Box 45, Okaihau, The Bay of Islands, Northland , New Zealand.
Please let me have your address so that I can send you the last of the patches.

Many thanks

Michael

Franc,

thanks for the info. I may be able to help but you'd have to supply me with a lot of information, first. Where are you located in the Phillipines? What type of monitor do you have? What kind of ambulance service do you provide? Where? To how many people? What kind of cardiac training have you received?

That's just a start. I pretty much need to know everything you can tell me first (sorry to be vague).

Jason
