I believe in the brotherhood. There are many people that just don’t understand.

MY brothers and sisters include U.S. Marines, Firefighters and Police Officers. It is not that they are better or superior; it is that they are family. I consider other military services to be cousins. All people deserve respect and courtesy, but it is a matter of the extent of that courtesy. Just as… Continue

Tom,
I appreciate your generosity. If you could send one of each it would be great. Thank you again in advance. Take care and be safe.

Tom, it appears you may have been misinformed by EMS officials in your area. You may want to review the National EMS Scope of Practice Model document. http://www.nhtsa.gov/staticfiles/DOT/NHTSA/Communication%20&%20Consumer%20Information/Articles/Associated%20Files/EMSScope.pdf.

Tom,

How are you doing? Just dropping a note to see if you want to swap patches. Let me know. Take care and be safe.

Hi Tom. I'm a fellow USMC vet like yourself, only of 8 years. Just happen to come across your discussion on the NREMT Title changes, and sent a friend request. I'm new to this forum, but been on the job for a few years. I am now a private contract medic overseas.

Hey Tom,
nice to see SWC Grads contributing to the "greater good" of EMS on discussion boards and professional publications. Hope you are well!

Hi everyone, I have been working a Fly Car now for 2 years. I also like the concept. In fact, the hospital that I am working in (Bangkok, Thailand) is the only hospital base ambulance that operate this type of vehicle with multi-tasks.

If you work in a "fly car" or "first responder" this is the place for you. Say hello, get to know each other, share experiences good or bad. A good place to vent or just learn what we all do in our regions.

Very interestingly, how do you apply them (ice packs) on the patient ?
