To my brother and sister medics out there. It's worth a look see the darker side of contracting overseas. One still has to do what is right

Please I'd like feedback

Tim,

I am a Paramedic from New York and was wondering if you would like to swap arm patches. Let me know if you would. Thanks, be safe and take care.

Hey Tim, thanks for the product information. Yes I have seen them and agree they are a great thing. but when there is not one then the basic 2 person helmet removel techniques works just as good. BTW, We have a Rescue Rider Chapter in PA. Nice to meet you. Be safe,
Teresa

Actually, I tripped over an O2 tank while teaching and landed on an AED, breaking off the leads on the pads. It was just a trainer, thank goodness and I healed sufficiently only to injure myself a few days later in the garden. I was using a cultivator/spade and hit myself right in the face with the spade end. That one will leave a scar! Especially since the emerg doc didn't clean the wound properly before applying the glue. (He used saline and left dirt in the wound. I am just now finishing the cephalaxin they had to prescribe for the ensuing infection.) Just another reason I am in first aid, lol. Not at all accident prone. *rolls eyes* At least my nose is still relatively straight. I
figure it's time for some holidays for me. But since I hope to visit my brother in Idaho, I should probably take out travel insurance just in case...

It was a good day. A little hot so did the yardwork late before dark. Work tomorrow so off to bed soon. What kind of shifts do you work up there? We have every kind of shift you can think of here. I'm starting intermediate class next week in hopes of getting on with a county here. Some of our counties are run by the county ems. Some are run out of hospitals and some are run by private. It's crazy. Hope you have a good week. ttyl
