You know I've wondered the same thing for years. One shift I forgot to bring my personnel bed linen and was going to use blanket off the unit then I relized there no wondering when the last time it was washed and what all type patients its been us...
The volunteer fire department I was with didn't provide any pay due to having paid onduty crew. The way I see it though any little bit will help offset fuel cost and ect. Another thing is to keep track of expenses for yearly tax write off.
