Born and raised in SW Kansas, I was initially certified as an EMT-A in 1992, took a break and returned in 1999 as an EMT-B, then I, and finally my medic in 2004. I Love EMS and my job. I currently work for a private transfer company, the local ER, and 911 service. I also teach CPR and assist in medic and EMT classes locally.

Its tough to do both but it will be worth it. The thing I like the most is I am so ahead in my nursing classes. I have no life cause I am always in class or clinicals but I like it. Not sure what I will do when school is over and I actually have free time.
We will be teaching again in Geneva -- then if all goes well, Kenya and Sweden....Ray and I have also taught in Sri Lanka and Mumbai (just beofre the terrorists got there...). I'll be lecturing on HazMat in South Dakota in May...
:) Maybe one day I will be in Kansas too!
