You may be interested to note that the International Association of Firefighters and the International Association of Fire Chiefs EMS Section are opposing inclusion of non-governmental EMTs and paramedics in this legislation.
EMS has lost several respected colleauges this year! I hope that each of us will remember to thank the folks you work with and live with because you never know when they may be gone. NEAMT is trying to change legislation to represent all providers...
