April 2010

So this month was my first in my 'new career' as a self employed paramedic. I officially retired at the age of 50 on the 31st March.

Since then I have worked two shifts with the ambulance service in Cornwall, England as an Emergency Care Practitioner, taught on a community responder course and a first aid course and had some time in Hampshire as a Rapid Response Car Unit Paramedic (5 shifts).

A couple of cardiac arrests, one murder, a few COPD patients,…

Hi Mike.
The MobiMed failure rate of 5-10% you are reporting - is it due to poor GSM coverage too?
We are using this tool for about 14 months now to attractive terms, mainly - I suppose - because the company tries to gain a foothold on the german market. It was pretty much interesting to hear about the experiences someone else made so far.
