"Everyone can contribute to EMS research - whether it is doing the actual research such as consenting patients, writing grants, etc - it doesn't matter how long you have been in EMS. I would start with reading the book "introduction to EMS…"

Slowly getting involved in EMS research

Alright, looking for suggestions....I want to get myself involved in research for EMS. Don't know where to start. EMS as a field has evolved very rapidly because of evidence-based research. I would feel very proud to look back one day and say that I had an impact on what EMS becomes in the future. I've been out of EMS from '03 to '06, hadn't worked actively as a medic since '03, passed my NREMT-P on my first try just last month :), and hopefully will have my state card by the end of this month…See More
