It is not just Medicare. There are many regulations concerning this. Considering the location of the person who posted the question, there has been much controversy for the hospitals in that area. Hospitals do need to be very careful.

- Yes, just had an 11 yr stint in the air ambulance biz with Air Methods... before that I spent 16 yrs in NYC after I left Dyna Med. I see your company provided consultant services for TransCare... I was hired by them as their first director of ops years ago and was thrown into the lions den after they acquired their first 13 companies. Small world! After 31 years in Fire/EMS, it was going to be RM, AMR or get out of the biz finally. A friend of mine is a senior director at Tenet corporate and he knew that I'm getting old and growing weary in the EMS industry and recommended that I get back into the hospital market. Otherwise, life's been good...have a seven year old son (started late!) with my second wife (much younger!) who of course was a paramedic(employee) turn ER Nurse (of course). Just Livin the EMS life!!! Hope you are doing great! We probably have crossed paths over the years many times and have worked with the same folks.
