- I was elected to move NAEMT forward, and I feel that the board is on the correct track, we are working on the three strategic goals that our members have selected Education, Membership, and Advocacy. Are we where I hoped we would be, no, but I have high expectations for NAEMT. If we work for the betterment of EMS and not reliving the past we would serve our profession better. The NAEMT leadership is working hard to spend every penny in a cost-effective manner. Our expenses are down this year and membership is up, EMS MATTERS!!!

I was very active instructor and then got deployed, I missed the 2006 roll out, and ever since then have been having the darnedest time trying to get my instructor back. And now here it is 4 years later and still have been missing teaching this course. I'm in Nevada, and even a couple of years later spoke to the regional guy at the time and he tried his hardest as well to find me a course, but there just weren't any being offered. I don't want to slam my state rep, but he just wasn't able to help me back then, so I just gave up asking him for help. I tried asking the military folks at DMRTI in Ft Sam Houston and never got a phone call back from them as well. I will call HQ and get with Corine.. Thank you

Sorry about your problems, let see what we can do to help you solve your issue. First, let me say thanks for your service to our military. I have the deepest respect for men and women who serve.
I have spoken with Corine at the NAEMT Headquarters and gave her your information. PHTLS is undergoing a updating and retooling that will be rolled out in September 2010 at the EMS Expo. But we don’t you to wait that long we need you out there teaching classes and keeping EMT’s and Medics trauma aware. Please call Corine at 1-800-34NAEMT ( 1-800-346-2368). She and I would like to know what state you are in and who you contacted. Thanks for alerting us of this issue and we will work together to correct our problem of losing an instructor like you.

- I have PHTLS issues. the national site doesn't seem to be able to answer my questions. I need to find a instructor course. Mine lapsed when I got deployed for the military can you help at all? My state person has not been any help

State is still 'out' on what they are going to do. In fact, they contacted me Friday performing a straw poll on programs re: CoAEMSP.
