Hey Julie! Thanks for the friend add, and the advice... and whatever path you choose in EMS, enjoy it completely, and always be safe (Yes, I preach the safety thing, lol). If I can ever return the "advice" favor, or you just need someone to listen, complain to, or cry on, I'm a decent listener. :D

BSI, my scene is safe...
Frank.

Hello Julie!

I too would be interested in swapping patches with you. I am a paramedic in Montreal, Canada. I have been collecting for over 20 years and have well over 4,000 patches from all over the world. Please let me know if you are interested in swapping. Please stay safe out there!!

Hi Julie, Welcome to Jems. I'm not a fanatical collector and I've only been on this site for a short time myself but I have a modest collection of patches from around the world (mostly from the USA). People have asked me directly for a particular patch from my previous employer BHP Steel (which is / has not been readily available due to the contracting out of the ambulance service) and offered theirs in return. I have mostly fallen over people who want trades. I don't go out trying every day as it's not the most important thing in my life. There will always be someone out there who does not have your patch - so if you want to trade patches just ask people directly. I guess being in another country has its advantages as not everyone has the ability or opportunity to travel and be in the right place at the right time to pick up international patches. On the flip side I will eventually run out of swaps. Cheers Grizzly.
