Most of the programs I've been associated with since have done the same."

Single Text vs. Multiple Texts for Paramedic Programs
My EMS program relies on a single "primary reference" textbook, which paramedic students buy in the second semester. They use that text for most of the core EMS courses they take over five semesters. There have been some problems associated with this practice and we are considering changing to a textbook plan using a primary book or other resource for each course. Discovery about Emergency Medicine Today - Interesting and Troubling
I was talking to a contractor friend today. He mentioned doing some work at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, where EM Today is held every October. He said that he started talking to the maintenance people there and the talk turned to the worst conventions, in terms of how much repair and cleanup work there was to do.
