Does anyone work for an agency that has a policy regarding transfers of care between providers of the same agency at shift change? I am not looking for policies covering ALS to BLS or EMS to ED staff. This probably sounds like a no brainer but... Also, does anyone know of any studies that have been done regarding the frequency of patient care errors related to the time of day (i.e., waking up at 3AM for a call and making a patient care error)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
