I know of transport "convelesent" agencies here in N.C., that pay $15.00 per hour with O.T. after 40 hours. EMT-B's that work for my service start around 25K yearly not including OT which is paid after 40 hours and they get excellent benefits.

There isn't, but that doesn't mean that it isn't done. :) I have actually seen the MCL1 label as well, though I don't recall whether it was on the wires themselves or on the monitors, but I didn't just pull that out of my butt...although this does...

That was my point, with more detail - the fact that the extra lead was built in to some older monitors didn't make it a good - or smart - choice.
doc, your link starts by stating that the Mayor is the one thinking about how Lima FD running EMS transport can help with the budget. Not the fire chief, the Mayor.
