Yea I have seen some idiot's do that.....but we change gloves a lot through out the call.
Do you guys change gloves after initiating patient contact, or is it the same pair of gloves for the entire call?

It really depends on the call; About 95% of the time we just wear gloves.....But we have had calls where we had to use gloves, gown, mask. We do have a mandatory rule that before you step out of the truck you must have gloves on at all calls...

- You can. However the Hospital Corpsman rating (HM) has a lot of different specialties. A great source of answers is www.corpsman.com.
Many reservist programs limit your enlistment to one time and only for a period of 18 months. If you want to remain reserves for ever or at least have that option stay away from those programs.
Please make sure your recruiter UNDERSTANDS what he's selling you. Talk to the folks at www.corpsman.com, they have latest and greatest intel on all this.
