"I know it is not a fix all but you backups can carry your current strykers and you main line can power. when you switch out squads you switch out stretchers. Now you only need to buy 7 instead of 4."

Who benefits from AMLS.. EMT-Basics ? Medics ? or both

AMLS--would EMT-Basics benefit from this too?? Currently in a service, Medics will go thru AMLS. Should EMT-Basics go thru this as well? NAEMT says it benefits EMT-Basics all the way to MD's.

Manual vs automatic blood pressures

So, the great debate continues on taking blood pressures. Do you initally take a manual blood pressure, to establish a baseline,or do you take one with the cardiac monitor. This would give you a trend to follow. NOW, if your first pressure is manual, then the rest are done by the one on the monitor, you loose your continuity. Right??
