I love SC... I never had such a great welcome. Back in Miami we don 't get that much equipment and dedication for EMS. I noticed that most of the guys in my crew truly enjoy what they do and go far and beyond the service of EMS to make sure the de...

It's a good place to live and work, with a semi-tropical environment for 8 to 9 months per year. The beaches are great, there's lots of great golf, a tremendous amount of local history, sailing, fishing and shrimping, great food, and lots of good ...

Calder EMS "Racing into the Future"

The crew at Calder EMS is working on changing a few things. New training and equipment is soon to hit the shelves of our small department. In these hard times its hard to find the funds. Do you guys think the government should assist small departments like Calder EMS with tax breaks on supplies and fuel. Even though Calder EMS is owned by a private company does not mean its getting the equipment needed to perform at its max.

No bother at all! Like anywhere, people and place are what you make of them. Depending on what part of the state you live in, you get differing weather/climate. Here on the southern coast, it is hot/humid 40 weeks out of the year. In the upstate, ie Greenville, they have more seasonal changes.

Chance, I've never said that firefighters are globally better at providing EMS. What I have said is that fire departments are not globally worse at providing EMS as is alleged here so often, and that there is no legitimate research that shows that...

The pneumonia doesn’t quite sit right with me. The ruptured bowel is good thought however it does not fit all the Signs and symptoms. I believe the distended belly is the result of Hepatomegaly a back up of blood into the liver from a pump problem...
