About Me
I'm a professional EMS provider with 6 years of experience in both the volunteer and career settings with service to many different areas throughout the State of Pennsylvania (to urban, suburban, and rural regions).
I'm a Nationally Registered Paramedic and hold an Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Services (Paramedic Technology) from the Pennsylvania College of Technology - a Pennsylvania State University Affiliate. I'm actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration through Columbia Southern University with full intentions of completing the college's Master's Degree program in Emergency Services Management.
I've successfully completed the Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport Program (CCEMTP) through the University Maryland, Baltimore County. In 2010, I became the first ALS provider in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to successfully possess both the Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) and Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) credentials through the Board for Critical Care Transport Paramedic Certification.
I serve as a clinical field preceptor for the Pennsylvania College of Technology EMS program as well as an active Pennsylvania EMS educator through the Harrisburg Area Community College EMS department. I also possess instructor titles in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association. In addition to my education experience, I've served as a psychomotor skills evaluator for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as well as a Competition Judge for the Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS) "EMS Today Conference and Exposition JEMS Games."
I know N378 very well as it was the aircraft that I flew in when I first began my career at Life Flight... And all of your instructors from the Life Flight program are great people and very, very knowledgeable. With all that experience and knowledge they will certainly make you a top notch Paramedic...
I see your wearing a helmet andd flightsuit.. Would that be a Life Flight helmet? I probably know alot of your Instructors at Penn College. By the way, I am the Clinical Coordinator for the LCCC Paramedic Program. My full time career is a Flight Paramedic for Geisinger. Nice to talk with you.
