Setting minimum standards can have the effect of the minimum standard becoming "the" standard.
What is worse is that without the minimum standard, either there is no standard, or less than the minimum may become the norm, at least for some.

The pneumonia doesn’t quite sit right with me. The ruptured bowel is good thought however it does not fit all the Signs and symptoms. I believe the distended belly is the result of Hepatomegaly a back up of blood into the liver from a pump problem...
