Share 'Volunteer Rescue Squads Close to Chicago'
Hello - I will be moving to Chicago within the next year. I would like to continue to volunteer as an EMT but I understand within most of the city limits, ambulances are staffed by 100% career staff. Does anyone know what is the closest county/station to downtown Chicago that is a volunteer organization? I'm looking for something where they would accept a 100% volunteer-staffed unit.
