This is a good one. Ever have that heroin abuser that knows what narcan is? And he refuses to let you use it! Well skip the IV and put it in the nebulizer works great, they catch on quick but it works in a pinch!

OKay, here's one of my favorites.
Quick Dopamine drip: Take the pt's weight in lbs, drop she last number and subtract one= the drops per minute for 5mcg/kg/min.
For example: 170lbs pt: drop the last number (17) subtract one (16)= 16 drops/min for 5mcg/kg/min.
From there you can adjust accordingly.
