I'm on the fence between heading into law enforcement and heading deeper into medicine. I'm finishing a bachelor's degree in criminal justice but also already have associate's degrees in allied health and criminal justice. To complete my bachelors I have to complete an internship with a police department. I think that will help me make the decision. I have a thing for guns and adrenaline..I was active duty military for 8 years. We'll see what happens. I'm primarily looking into James Madison University since it's the closest and I can get in state tuition. Any advice or suggestions welcome. I'll start on the prereqs as soon as I get the actual bachelor's done.

I have been thinking about going back to school to be a PA. The NP that I work with thinks it would be a great idea just don't know.

Hello Everyone! My name is Tom Kodz and I am a Paramedic that went back to school to become a Physician Assistant! I currently work clinically in an Emergency Department in Central CT and I am a Full Time Assistant Professor at Quinnipiac University's PA program! I started this group to look for Paramedics who have done the same as me, or are interested in doing what I did! We can share our experiences, trials, and tribulations, and I can try to answer any questions some of you may have about the process and experience if you are planning to do this too!
