Valerie, if you were to contact Delta Ambulance, Northeast Mobile health services or United Ambulance in Maine, I am sure they can help you out.  They have all done critical care transports and I believe Delta and United still run a CC truck.  Not sure what state you are from and your protocols are, but it is a start.

Hello everyone,

My agency is looking to expand our services to include a critical care transport team- transporting critical patients, patients on vents, critical drips, high risk, etc. A few members are active paramedics/RN's and would be willing to be involved in advanced training and protocols, etc. I just have no idea where to start. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them. Thank you in advance!

Val

Hi all! There is a new association in California representing EMS professionals. Even if you are not an EMD, EMR, EMT, AEMT or Paramedic in California, please "Like" this page to support us!  CAAEMT Facebook Page

The mission of the California Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to serve the prehospital EMS care providers of California by presenting networking opportunities, offer continuing education, work with CAAEMT partners to give discounts on services and products, and represent its membership during discussions that will readily affect their practice and protocols.

Spread the word by re-posting on JEMS and Facebook!

Hello everyone,

I am NOT a paramedic, I am an EMT, but I am asking for your support of the National EMS Memorial Foundation. Our mission is to build a National EMS Memorial in the Nation's capital. If you agree with our goal please join the group: http://connect.jems.com/group/nationalemsmemorialfoundation

Or, visit our website: www.emsmemorialfoundation.org

Thanks everyone.

Welcome to the group Cheryl-Anne! I am an Advanced Care Paramedic from Ontario, Canada. I also completed my BHSc through Victoria University in Melbourne, AU. If you're up in Canada during your travels and you'd like to rideout with me (I work 1 hour west of Toronto), just send me a message.
cheers

G'day.....I'm Cheryl and I am an Advanced Care Paramedic in Queensland Australia. I've been in this job for nearly 13 years in various stations. I am also in the final year of my Nursing Degree.
Being a Paramedic was my dream and now I am looking forward to heading off to the USA in a year or two - for a working vacation. Nice to meet you all!!
