Hi, all! I'm Angie, and I'm a flight nurse living just barely south of Pittsburgh, PA and working in Fayette County at MedEvac 5. I've been in EMS for 12 years and firefighting for 11.

Like Robert, I have alphabet soup as well, but I'm hoping to add CFRN, FireFighterII, and FireInstructor I to that soon.

I was happiest as a paramedic...I only went to nursing school to increase my chances of getting a flight job. I still do ground work and love being the first in the door.

Thanks for the group! Y'all be safe out there.

Greetings!. My name is Robert Knight (AKA: Ridryder911). I have been in EMS for over 31 years as a Paramedic and a Registered Nurse for 20 years.

Alike many others I have the usual alphabet titles after my name. As well have been a flight nurse, emergency, critical care and administration. Ironically I left nursing full time to return to EMS full time, fortunately the pay was equal if not more.

I am very active in EMS education and attempting to enforce professional development per legislation and educational values.
