Jodi, I am really confused. I came in from Calif in '79 and worked for the EMS Office for 4 years. We certified lot's of folks from all over the nation. The biggest hurdle was the AS degree for those certified AFTER 07/01/99.

It was a matter of they did not want California medics taking jobs from Oregon medics. Thats fine and in a way I understand that, but I grew up in Oregon. and could not get the cert in Oregon and went from Medford to Eureka weekly to get the training then could not get a job. It just sucked.
