Comment by Jason McBrayer on February 24, 2011 at 1:11pm: Well John depending on the company most require you be a NREMT-P and at least have a couple years working as a fully released Paramedic on the ambulance. I suggest doing as much research as possible into the position. As working out here is nothing like working on the ambulance. 99.9% of the time you just do office work around the rig. When you do do medical stuff it is usually just primary care type medicine. Coughs, and colds. That type stuff
