Well John depending on the company most require you be a NREMT-P and at least have a couple years working as a fully released Paramedic on the ambulance. I suggest doing as much research as possible into the position. As working out here is nothing like working on the ambulance. 99.9% of the time you just do office work around the rig. When you do do medical stuff it is usually just primary care type medicine. Coughs, and colds. That type stuff

We are about 30 miles off the Louisiana coastal waters. About a 15 minute helicopter ride from Port Furchon/ Leeville, La.
