Hi all! I'm new to the group and wanted to introduce myself.  I've been a NYS-EMT since 1994.  I am interested in becoming nationally registered and also looking into taking an EMS management course.  I've recently undergone back surgery so working the "street" is out for me at least as a tech but I still want to continue working in the EMS field.

Hi all! There is a new association in California representing EMS professionals. Even if you are not an EMD, EMR, EMT, AEMT or Paramedic in California, please "Like" this page to support us!  CAAEMT Facebook Page

The mission of the California Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to serve the prehospital EMS care providers of California by presenting networking opportunities, offer continuing education, work with CAAEMT partners to give discounts on services and products, and represent its membership during discussions that will readily affect their practice and protocols.

Spread the word by re-posting on JEMS and Facebook!

Greetings, I would like to know if my current EMT license from the Philippine Society of Emergency Medical Technician (PSEMT) a regional affiliate of Australian Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (AREMT) is equivalent to the NREMT. If yes, how can i be a member of the NREMT or register as NREMT. Thank you.. :)

i would like to know if there is a way to be a NREMT as me being a Advanced Medical First Responder from Ottawa Canada and would love to challenge the exam somehow and not travel to the US?

Is there a way?
