Comment by Leigh Lloyd on May 26, 2011 at 4:37pm I am an EMT-I in a small town in Utah, my husband and I used to own a business but it went under, we always used to share our message of God with others if they would ask, and invite them to come with us to church, we had several young people working for us and a few of them we knew liked to "party" one young man in particular we would pick up from his home and bring him to work and always try to share with him the Message of God and what he could do.. but he never really wanted to hear it. Two years down the road the ambulance I work on got paged to an unresponsive male overdose CPR in Progress. on arrival to the scene it is the same young man in very bad shape. but he is breathing although not very well, he is given Narcan and he wakes up... we take him to the ED and all is well he's going to make it end of story right?? Wrong... yesterday while on facebook I get a friend request from him and I accept it.. he tells me thanks for saving his life, I tell him I didn't do that alone and ask him how he's doing with the drugs and such... he answers "that's what I meant by you saved my life.... you showed me God.. that night when I finally got to go home I prayed to him and he hasn't let me down since" "so yeah thanks for saving my life"
that touched my heart more than any "EMS Save". anyone else have any stories like this one?? God is amazing and we can do all things through him!!
