Niels....
Hi, I am not from Boston but from Maryland but just wanted to drop a quick note to say that i traveled to Germany a couple of years ago and stayed with a family that the husband was Fire Chief but also got to spend some timewith the EMS system there. It was very interesting how much there is the same (equip., meds, supplies) and to me it seemed like there were alot more meds and the equipment is set up more sensible in the units.....let me know if you wish to continue conversing!!! I LOVED it in Germany and wish to return as soon as money allows...have a great day

My name's John. I'm a paramedic working in Southeastern Pennsylvania...just outside of Philadelphia. I'm also an experienced EMS Educator and have an interest in remote / austere medical care. Looking to spend time overseas and always eager for new and challenging training opportunities. Spent a month last year at a remote medical training facility in Belize and hungry for more.

Dear colleagues

You may be interested in a very comprehensive free online pain management course produced by BOC who make Entonox. It has 18 modules and will take about 3 hours to complete. You can print off a certificate after completing the short MCQ's after each module
The website is - www.discover.entonox.co.uk
Hope you enjoy it

I am an American NREMT-P. I have worked in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Oman and now Qatar. I love the travel and the expat lifestyle. With eight weeks off a year, I get a chance to see the world, that I never had a chance to working in the U.S. I wrote a book about my time in Saudi Arabia, it is called "Paramedic to the Prince" If anyone is interested in EMS employment overseas. please feel free to e-mail me through my web-site. www.paramedictotheprince.com I am happy to answer any questions
