Greetings all.  I'm a IL EMT-B and GA EMT-I, currently living in Atlanta.  I'm also a state EMS patch collector.  I desperately need help adding the "Licensed Paramedic" and "Certified Paramedic" rocker patches used by ambulance services in the Chicagoland area to my collection.  Can anyone help me out?

Hello fellow Illinois EMT's and others.  I am a member of the Illinois EMT Association and we are about to wrap up our 2011 Conference here in Springfield.  It was discussed on how to "kick-start" the membership of the Association and I thought I would throw a note up on here.  You can visit our website, or we are also on facebook, just search for "Illinois EMT Association".

I just wanted to brag a little bit. I was appointed to the Region 6 advisory committee as a representative of PREMMS today.

Hi to all,

I just joined the group tonight. The Quad Cities is home, but I spent a couple of years in Springfield. Worked in Decatur for a while when I lived in Sfield. Now living in the bush in Alaska as EMS coordinator of the largest health care organization in the state.

We are the cultural, educational, civic, medical, religious, social, and transportation hub for 57 little villages spread out over an area the size of the state of Oregon.

Guess what folks we do that with three little ambulance services. Two have one truck, the third here in town has two trucks. We also have one Cessna Caravan air ambulance that flies out to the villages to bring the pts in to our level 4 hospital. We then fly them out on a Lear 35 to either Anchorage or Seattle.

Our saving grace are the communiy health aides / community health practioners. They are natives, mainly women with 16 weeks of training who essentially function as midlevels.

I already know young Mr. Broyles, and I forget already who it was I saw on here that I should get to know. He is in Dwight, where my best friend from nursing school was raised.
