Welcome!

In an effort to connect with more fire-EMS professionals and share ideas and practices, we've started this group on JEMS Connect. We look forward to seeing our friends join the discussions as well as making new contacts with professionals across the country.

First, we want to introduce you to the new podcast series we've started called "Fully Involved." Each month, hot topics, news and current events affecting fire and EMS will be discussed by leading professionals in the field.

When we have a new episode, we'll post a new discussion thread below with the info. After listening to each podcast, you can share your feedback by commenting on that thread.

Be sure to invite your fire-EMS colleagues. Let's get started!

The mission of the California Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to serve the prehospital EMS care providers of California by presenting networking opportunities, offer continuing education, work with CAAEMT partners to give discounts on services and products, and represent its membership during discussions that will readily affect their practice and protocols.

There were a few common threads in many presentations that were highlighted especially in Dr. Meyers's keynote speech. I'm very surprised there have been no discussions regarding anything posted--especially here (or does everyone just go straight to the General discussion area?). Any thoughts on this year's conference and the keynote theme?
