I have been in EMS for the past 12 years and currently a Rescue Chief for a small town in the State of Maine.

Hi all! There is a new association in California representing EMS professionals. Even if you are not an EMD, EMR, EMT, AEMT or Paramedic in California, please "Like" this page to support us!  CAAEMT Facebook Page

The mission of the California Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to serve the prehospital EMS care providers of California by presenting networking opportunities, offer continuing education, work with CAAEMT partners to give discounts on services and products, and represent its membership during discussions that will readily affect their practice and protocols.

We are switching from a volunteer basic service to a paid als service. We need lots of equipment including a lifepak monitor. Any info or help on grants and funding would be greatly apreciated. I work in the great state of ND. Thanks all and be safe out there.

Hi, My name is Brandi and I'm finishing paramedic school. I was just wondering if there are any grants or funding out there to help finish paying for my class. I'm married and have three children, I work 1 full-time job as an emt-b. We make just enough money to get by, but enough that I can't seem to find much help. I don't know if I'm just not looking in the right place or what but please help.I live in Kentucky and work for a small county based service. I've devoted the last two years to paramedic school and now it's time to go and test, but I have to finish paying for the class first.

The National Emergency Medicine Association (NEMA) will sometime fund colaboration efforts but limit grants to $10,000. The Robert Woods Johnson Foundation will sometimes fund large projects, but it must fit into their mission statement. Bot are long shots, but worth a look.

Any leads on grants to get training equipment to improve collaboration between community, EMS and hospitals in responding to sudden cardiac arrest events in multi counties? Thanks in advanced! Happy Holidays to all!

Hi Thomas, do you know of any grants that cater for international projects in EMS? Any advice or support would be appreciated.
