Just passed my Nationals and looking for any ideas or suggestions about getting a job now.. Where is the best place to volunteer? Has anyone worked with the Red Cross disaster team? Any suggestions would be more than welcomed..thanks

Welcome to all the new folks, congratulations on making it into our crazy world. You'll be hard pressed to find another profession that you'll love more than this one. It's tough to make a decent living doing this job but the rewards are fabulous! We really do make a difference when it counts most. One day you'll be walking along and out of the blue, somebody will see and remember you and tell you how much they are thankful... Those are the moments that makes this career worth while! May you all have a long and wonderful career in EMS!!!

Took my NREMT test on the 31st and passed.. trying to figure out how my classmate Joe got picked up by AMR already... Have you taken the IV cert yet Joe????

thanks franc, i know some volunteers in bacolod and been there a couple of times. i heard about your group and i don't know if you knew borgs toda from the chapter. He's a friend of mine and is now working here in the national headquarters as a National Field Representative. Just stay safe and continue saving lives...

hey sir wow nice to hire that im also a red cross volunteer only im a first aider at the red cross im from bacolod city chapter but i als so voulunteer at amity volunteerfire brigade - ems well emt not like yours there local only not graduate of operation smile pero ive been in the service for 2 i/2 only hehhee
