Well Nicholas, for me (I'm considerably older) the problem is BOTH. Finding a special partner (guy) has proven to be VERY difficult - keeping one is a challenge I'll gladly accept. Treating someone right and being treated right seem to be a thing of the past. The only prospects I seem to run across are basically only looking for a roll in the hay and don't really want a "relationship" beyond that. I guess all the good guys are already taken, at least the ones worth appreciation, love, and romance. I would love to find somebody wonderful to spoil, share, and laugh with for the rest of my days....

It does seem that "the unusual sence of humor" does put off people.. and the fact that no one wants to hear how awesome it was to traction splint someone and save their foot.. or how you did some other amazing things that no one can stomach

So.. Whats the most interesting date anyone has been on with a person that is not in the field?.. I went out with a guy to a restaraunt.. He asked me what I did for a living and I told him. He said (and I quote), " I hate being around people in EMS. All the Firefighters and Medics I know are so depressed all the time. I said the dinner was over, and to take me to my car. I told him that he needed new friends because all the people I know are too busy pulling pranks to be depressed!
