Do you have an EMS competition?

Every year at EMS Today, the JEMS conference, we hold the JEMS Games Clinical Competition. It includes a preliminary competition in which 20-25 teams from across the country compete in an 8-station course. Based on final times and clinical accuracy, the top three teams make it to the finals. This year, the finals involved a bar fight with five critical stabbing and gsw patients. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took home the gold medal. To watch a video of the 2008 JEMS Games, go here...

We are currently accepting registrations for competition teams (ALS & BLS Divisions). Last year 2010 ALS Division winners were FDNY. BLS Division winners were Hoags Corners Rescue Squad.

For more information, registration packets and rules & regulations. You can contact Art Breault 518-262-8559 or email Breaula@mail.amc.edu

This is the first year our Simulation Center will be open and the competition will be taking place there. It it is a 9 million dollar facility that officially opened 9/2011. It should be a lot of fun! Hope to see you there

Hey everyone! Registration is officially open for the 2012 JEMS Games. I've attached the updated rules and regs here, but you can also visit http://emstoday.com/Special-Events/JEMS-Games/ for more information.

And Matt, we're switching up judging a little this year. Allison Moen sent out an e-mail this week with more information. Did you receive it?JEMS_GAMES_Rules_2012.doc

Hi all! There is a new association in California representing EMS professionals. Even if you are not an EMD, EMR, EMT, AEMT or Paramedic in California, please "Like" this page to support us!  CAAEMT Facebook Page

The mission of the California Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to serve the prehospital EMS care providers of California by presenting networking opportunities, offer continuing education, work with CAAEMT partners to give discounts on services and products, and represent its membership during discussions that will readily affect their practice and protocols.

Spread the word by re-posting on JEMS and Facebook!

The JEMS Games judges' invites have gone out, so if you haven't received an invite and are interested, please e-mail me as soon as possible.

We're currently accepting team registrations. I'm excited to announce we have some Aussies participating this year. It should be a fun competition! It's not too late to register your team, so check out the attached form. And if you have any questions about registering your team, please call or e-mail me. JEMS_GAMES_Rules_2011.doc

The deadline for 2010 JEMS Games team registration has passed (although I'm still taking stragglers' entries), and I'm happy to report that we currently have 17 teams signed up! It should be a stiff competition. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Hello folks,I was at the Jems Games this year and I wanted to say it was a great time... and was wondering if I may be of assistance in anyone out there in the northeastern USA that are looking to train for or host future competitions. MY wife and I own a ambulance simulator company known as Green Ambulance Simulator, Inc. and would love to help with future competitions. We own a SimMan, Simbaby, several trauma manikins, moulage, and an assortment of airway and iv trainers. Please check out my website at www.greenambulancesimulator.com for more info.thanks, be safe, ralph
