Albany Medical Center Hospital, Department of Emergency Medicine - EMS will be hosting it's 3rd Annual EMS Competition on Sunday May 20th 2012.

We are currently accepting registrations for competition teams (ALS & BLS Divisions). Last year 2010 ALS Division winners were FDNY. BLS Division winners were Hoags Corners Rescue Squad.

This is the first year our Simulation Center will be open and the competition will be taking place there. It it is a 9 million dollar facility that officially opened 9/2011. It should be a lot of fun! Hope to see you there

The mission of the California Association of Emergency Medical Technicians is to serve the prehospital EMS care providers of California by presenting networking opportunities, offer continuing education, work with CAAEMT partners to give discounts on services and products, and represent its membership during discussions that will readily affect their practice and protocols.

The JEMS Games judges' invites have gone out, so if you haven't received an invite and are interested, please e-mail me as soon as possible.

We're currently accepting team registrations. I'm excited to announce we have some Aussies participating this year. It should be a fun competition! The deadline for 2010 JEMS Games team registration has passed (although I'm still taking stragglers' entries), and I'm happy to report that we currently have 17 teams signed up! It should be a stiff competition. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Teams: 2010 JEMS Games registration is open. We're limited to 25 teams, so get your materials to me before the Jan. 18 deadline. All the info and necessary forms are in the attached rules and regs document.

Judges: I'll be sending out judging invites soon. Has your contact info changed? Let me know. Are you an aspiring first-time judge? Get in touch with me now, before the invites go out. I'm expecting the judging slots to fill up quickly.

Congratulations to Flagler County for taking home gold and FDNY for taking home bronze at the Rallye Rejviz 2009 International EMS Competition held in the Jesenik Mountains in the Czech Republic. Read more.....

Hello folks,I was at the Jems Games this year and I wanted to say it was a great time... and was wondering if I may be of assistance in anyone out there in the northeastern USA that are looking to train for or host future competitions.
