After a rather long hiatus from being active on this blog, I have some good news. Not only will I be here more often but I have an exciting new project!

Over the last few years I've been working with a group called the The Promed Network that hosts and manages EMS related podcasts. I've worked with them since last year during the EMS Today and EMS World conferences working in the live studio, helping with production, video and still photography. I met a couple great guys from Tennessee that started the Paragon Medical Education Group bringing interactive education to the conferences. They also have a real interest in disaster medicine. One thing we agreed on was that there was a dearth of disaster EMS related podcasts.

On the night of September 11th, 2013 (how appropriate), we hatched a plan. We agreed to create the "DisasterCast". I will be involved with hosting and creating content. This will be the first of its kind for disaster medicine. Stay tuned as there will be more to come. Also, if you happen to be going to EMS Today next month, come by and see us! We'll also be looking for people to interview if you're interested. :)

Hi Disaster Junkies,

It's been a while I know, but I hope to fix that. We're going into hurricane season, you know.

In January i told you about our new disaster podcast. Well, it's up and running and we have some great content. Please check it out and let me know what you think.
