Greetings all!  Just wondering, what does the State of CA Advanced EMT patch look like?  Where can I purchase AEMT and paramedic rocker patch for my collection of state issued EMT/ paramedic patches?

Patrick,

Try American Ambulance in Fresno area. Great organization and awesome leadership.

Came to California last fall after 27 years in Texas. Got my NREMT-P so I could get my CA licensure (talk about reinventing the wheel... the NREMT-P test is meant for newly minted book learned pups not old dogs like me.)

I never thought I would see the day when I couldn't get a job. I live in Kern County and since I didn't get on with the largest provider (and I wouldn't recommend anyone working for the current Ops Manager unless you like humiliation in large doses), I can't find a job anywhere!

I have applied from Barstow to Edwards to Fresno to San Diego and everywhere in between. I actually heard of a company that laid off Paramedics in Antleope Valley! Never before...

I need a job and help! Any suggestions?

Greetings everyone. I have worked in EMS in California since 1981 (no dinosaur jokes). Currently working with MedicAlert Foundation to help save lives providing medical information for others.

Chronicles of EMS began in CA and this is why I wanted to show our appreciation for CA EMS.

Hello. Just left the Army with over 10 years as a medic. Now I'm an EMT within an industrial setting in the central valley. How is everyone?
