G'day all,
My name is Cheryl and I am an Advanced Care Paramedic living and working in a small rural station in outback Queensland. I have only been here a month or so and having moved from a large station, it was a bit of a culture shock.
Our 'patch' covers 56,000 square kilometres and it is a single officer station.....potential for LONG response times!
I would be keen to hear from any other paramedics working in rural and isolated places....in Australia or anywhere.

Hi everyone,
we have ordered a new LP 15 defibrillator last november and are still desperately waiting....
The company told us that production has already started and the first 400 (!) has been shipped to Australia. Has anyone out there got it? And - by the way - has maybe first experiences made?
