By the way...the booke leaves a bit to be desired. It just scratches the surface. Keep getting experience.

Tom, Keep working on your 911 EMS and get as much experience as you can. Try looking at my company, PHI, they have some jobs out west that are currently open. Having CCEMTP is a plus but not the only way to get in. Lots of luck!

I am possibly the newest flight medic on earth. I won't even fly for a couple more months yet. I became a medic in San Diego in mid-'06 and flew a lot of patients out from my full-time role as a medic in Julian. But I always wanted to be the one flying, not the one calling the airship. Now I will have a chance to do some fixed wing transports. I love to fly and look forward to the experience. I am old, and a new medic. So... Any thoughts? What is it that I probably don't know, that you think I should know - or will know and wish I knew? I will be working in the states of Oregon and CA primarily.
