JEMS Connect - EMS Emergency Medical Services

Social and Professional Network

I just received an invitation to interview and test with WCEMS in Raleigh, NC. I can't believe I was even selected! Over the past six months I've researched their philosophy and read everything I could find ever since I first discovered it while on this site. I waited a long time and finally applied literally right after I walked across the stage and finished paramedic school back in August. I didn't think I had a chance, especially from being out of state. Anyway, it's amazing to see how one county conducts their EMS as apposed to an entire state (my state, Florida). Now to prepare. Any tips?

Sorry, Josh. I thought that was pretty funny, but I don't want it to show up anytime someone Googles "interview with Wake County EMS". Thanks, Tom
