Does anyone have experience with using Vasopressin for Sepsis? There's a lot of data pre-2010. Not so much post 2010. I've read some promising results; like all medications, there are some drawbacks.... If Vasopressin is beneficial for Septic Shock patients; it needs to be considered in the Pre-hospital realm. Cost benefit is there; we stock it already...
Is there any word on giving vasopressin before shock develops? Sepsis can give providers a false sense of stability. Since many Septic patients do not present with signs and symptoms which are alarming. Thanks for your input.
